Max Payne 3 Chapter 5 Collectables Locations

Alive If Not Exactly Well is the fifth chapter in Max Payne 3 and just like the previous chapter it includes 12 collectibles, but only 6 of them are golden parts that allow you to unlock golden guns, while the rest are clues.

Chapter 5 continues your search for Fabiana, kidnaped by a group of terrorists. Along with Passos you follow their trail to the docks.

The following guide reveals the locations of all collectibles featured in Chapter 5 of Max Payne 3. If you follow the exact order as the one below, you can find allgolden gun parts and all clues in a single playthrough, without having to replay the chapter or to restart from certain checkpoints.

In this specific chapter you can unlock to new Max Payne 3 weapons: the Golden LMG .30 rifle, and the Golden Micro 9MM SMG.

Max Payne 3 Chapter 5 Collectables Guide – Parked Helicopter Clue Location

When you begin the chapter, head forward following the dirt path and examine the helicopter in the courtyard. You can do this while standing behind the fence.

In the room where you check the recording showing Fabiana, right next to the TV is a ransom note. Examine it as it’s the second clue.

When you exit the second hangar, turn right following the dirt path and in front of you, there are several crates. On top on one of them (the middle one) you should see a sparkling part. Climb the crate to find the Golden Micro 9MM Part 1.

When you reach the hangar where Fabiana was tortured, make sure you examine the video camera.

In the garage where you see Fabiana being dragged out, after you clear the area, make sure you check the upper platform first. At the end of the platform you will find the Golden Micro 9MM Part 3.

The next clue is located in the room under the platform mentioned above. In the same room, you must push a button on the wall which allows you to exit the hangar. The clue is a picture on the table, to the left.

After you exit the garage, you will cross a courtyard and enter another building. Inside, you should see a poker table and next to it a cage. Inside the cage, on the floor is a newspaper. Examine it to unlock the fifth clue, then turn around and enter the room located in the same building.

In the hangar, where you have found the newspaper, is a room. If you open the door, right in front of you is a table, and on it, the final clue: a blueprint.

If you check the backroom of the building where you have found the clues above, you should see several containers. In one of them (the one in the middle) is the Golden LMG .30 Part 1.

While playing the fourth Max Payne 3 chapter (Anybody Can Buy Me a Drink) you can find up to 12 collectables, from which 3 of them are clues, and 9 are golden gun parts.

The first golden gun part is located at the beginning of the chapter, in the bar. Clear the area first, and look behind the last couch to find the Golden 1911 Part 1.

In the same bar, after you clear the room where the pool table is located, head upstairs and check the corridor to the left to get the Golden 1911 Part 2.

After you exit the bar with Passos, clear the backyard, then return to the starting point. Under the stairs that took you outside the bar, is the Golden 1911 Part 3.

In Max’s apartment, by the window, is a small table. On it you will find Max’s NYPD badge, which is the first clue in Chapter 4.

As you try to escape the building, you will reach an area destroyed by Brewer’s explosion. To your right is an apartment, near the stairs. Make sure you investigate it to find the Golden SAF 40 CAL Part 1, on the floor, near the refrigerator.

As soon as you reach the roof, clear it, and while standing near the entrance, turn right, and right again, to reach a dead end. On the floor you will find the Golden M500 Part 2.

After you complete the water tower QTE (quick-time event) Passos will appear and shows you where to go. Don’t follow him. Turn left instead and explore the far side of the roof, to find the Golden SAF 40 CAL Part 2. It should be to your right, when you reach the dead-end.

Just Another Day at the Office is the third Max Payne 3 chapter and it includes 10 Max Payne 3 collectibles.

Chapter 3 features six golden gun parts and four clues. While the clues are easyto find, the golden parts are well hidden. The following guide offers information on how to find all collectables in the third chapter.

If you manage to collect all parts you will unlock the Golden M10 and the Golden M2A1.

The screenshots as well as the hints will help you get all collectibles in Just Another Day at the Office, in a single playthrough; however to do this, you must respect the same order, as the one below.

As soon as you recover from the attack on the stadium, and after you clear the first area, examine the office adjacent to the medical office. It is on the right side. Examine the picture on the wall to get one of the clues: Picture of Victor.

Near the first elevator, as you follow Passos, to the left, is a white door. Examine the bloodstain on it for another clue.

The first golden gun part can be found in the recording room, on the floor, next to the camera. The recording room is located near the conference room where you find the injured Brazilian.

In the souvenirs’ room you will find another golden  part, sitting on a white stand. The location is marked by a big poster showing a football team.

After you escape the first sniper, you will have to follow a tunnel to the right. Clear the hallway and locate the bloodstain on one of the tunnel’s pillars.

When you reach the stadium, in the transmission room, Passos kills the sniper that attacked you and he will cover your next moves. Check the first row of the tribune (the lower one), and you will find the  Golden M10 Part 2.

When you reach the upper stands, after you kill all paramilitaries, Passos will cover you while you try to reach the other side of the tribune. Make sure you head down following the stairs and search the left side of the tribune. Behind a corner you will find the Golden M2A1 Part 2. Try to get it as fast as you can, before Passos runs out of ammo.

After you assist the execution and find out that Fabiana is at the docks, you have to kill one last sniper in the IT tower. To reach the tower, you must cross another tribune (Setor Superior D). Go up the stairs and turn right. At the end of the row, in a corner is the Golden M2A1 Part 3. Run from cover to cover because the sniper can see you.

After you clear the second floor of the nightclub, you will exit through a small door which takes you to the bathroom. You will see three doors but only one of them shows that the bathroom is free. Make sure you approach it to find an ex-cop hiding. In the same room you will find another clue.
